Harbour Place on Lake Tellico is a lovely neighborhood along the east side of the lake. The elevated community provides panoramic views of the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains and Cherokee National Forest. From the elevated setting, residents can see for miles up the lake, west towards the land which was once home to the Cherokee Nation and the restored historic Fort Loudoun.

This community of 128 parcels was originally developed in 2000. Harbour Place is located on the main channel of Tellico Lake and just a few miles west of Maryville. The lots and homes have underground utilities including sewer.

The East Lakeshore Trail is a 28 mile network of trails along the shore of Tellico Lake. The southern most trailhead of this National Recreation Trail is just a short distance to the North and links these communities with exclusive Windriver to the north.

Residents of Harbour Place enjoy the benefits of no income tax in Tennessee including no tax on retirement income. Kiplinger recently stated that Tennessee is one of the top 4 states for retirement – tax friendly, low cost-of-living, and stable financial base of the state. The Mercatus Center at Mason University rated Tennessee eighth of all states for fiscal soundness. Monroe County property taxes are also very reasonable.

Residents are only as short drive to shopping, restaurants, marinas, medical facilities including the University of Tennessee Medical Center, the Knoxville Airport, and the cool relaxing streams of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Cherokee National Forest. East Tennessee is within a one day drive of the majority of the national population. Tellico Lake homeowners can travel by boat to the Gulf of Mexico if they wish.
